Samantha Rose Prince
Age 37, of Watkins Glen, NY and formerly Avalon, CA, lost her battle on the morning of August 17, 2020 after 4 long years with her courageous battle against a terrible disease-cancer. She was a mother, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a niece, a loving companion, a friend, a cousin, and a FIGHTER!!
She is survived by her partner, Randy Savoie; children, Mason and Hannah; step-daughter Kaelyn Savoie; parents, Ricky and Ruth Prince of Montour Falls; sister April (Kyle) Bronson; grandfather Willard “Bill” Prostka; father-in-law Ronnie Savoie Sr.; sister-in-law Lauren Savoie; and brother-in-law Ronnie Savoie, Jr. (Wendy); uncle Jeffrey (Sharon) Prince; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother, Zachary Prince; grandmothers, Doris Prince and Ruth Prostka; and uncles Harry and Stevie Prince, and sister-in-law, Karen Lafontaine.
Samantha graduated from Watkins Glen Central School in 2001 and worked for the Catalina Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau as a Special Events Coordinator and Manager. Samantha was a published Children’s Book Illustrator, loved playing games, watching movies and dancing with her children!
The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Saturday (Aug. 22) from 2pm-5pm; followed by a Memorial Service celebrating her life at 5:00pm.
