Samuel J. Dordoni
Age 79, of Watkins Glen, passed away September 10, 2026.
Sam was born in Newark, NJ, on February 27, 1947, the son of the late Constantine and Agnes (Belviso) Dordoni. An industrious and ingenious inventor, Sam was the proprietor of GravTran R&D, a fuel-free, pollution-free, gravity-powered system designed for mass transit using stored kinetic energy. Sam also invented the "Impulse Motor,"a timing device engine that creates a lifting force, which he believed could maneuver in space and surpass the speed of light. Neither of Dordoni's inventions was integrated into society by the time of his passing. It was his ultimate wish for his family to carry on his legacy and see these inventions implemented around the world for the preservation of the Earth and humankind.
Sam is survived by his wife Linda; four children, Dan, of Beaver Dams, Joe, of Horseheads, Michelle Craven, of Sweetwater, TN; and Julia Dordoni of Estes Park, CO; and sister, Joann Foran; six grandchildren, Nick, Phil, Clint, Lucas, Sonya, and Enya; 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Samuel; and sisters, Grace Cuzzolina and Debra Dordoni,
