Age 9, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Our little Sierra was diagnosed at 17 months old with a brain tumor. But she lived a brave life that touched many people and warmed the hearts of many. She was a Fourth Grade student at Winfield Elementary in Corning. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday (Jan. 17th) from 2pm-4pm; followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 4:00pm.
Sierra is survived by her loving parents, Mark and Shelly Parker of Corning; siblings, Laurie, Alissa, Sarina and Mark Parker; maternal grandmother, Cheryl Allen of Corning; maternal grandfather, Bernard Allen Sr. (Nancy Campbell), and maternal great-grandmothers, Nora Hults and Estellene Allen, all of Montour Falls; paternal grandfather, William Parker of Millport; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
