Age 42, of Rock Stream, NY, passed away after a brief illness on September 23, 2012. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday, September 28th, from 12:00pm-1:00pm; followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm to celebrate her life. Sue is survived by her children, John Bogart III of Bath, Crystal Bogart of Bath, and Brett Bogart of Dundee; mother, Fannie Padgett of Bath; special companion, Herman Nazario; brothers and sisters, James (Deborah) Padgett of North Carolina, Deborah Taylor of Canandaigua, Timothy Padgett of Bath, Jeffrey Padgett of Bath, Donna (Frederick) Runyan of Canisteo, Carol (Bill) Hoppe of Hornell, and Karen Murat of Virginia; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Howard D. Padgett, Sr. and brother, Howard D. Padgett, Jr. Sue was born and raised in Bath, NY. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter and sister. Sue always made people happy when she was around, putting others first before herself. She was also a very hard worker. Sue would often laugh and play around the house, even throwing the pig-skin “football” around or play horseshoes. Suzie would rather be outside than inside, and especially loved horses and ladybugs. She worked at Watkins Glen International Raceway. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
