Age 89, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2019.
She was born May 15, 1930 in Watkins Glen, the only daughter to Liborio “Lee” and Laura (Mills) Abate.
She worked as a clerk for the Village of Watkins Glen for 40 years. Vita was a lifelong member of the Watkins Glen First Presbyterian Church, a Watkins Glen High School Alumni Association Volunteer, and member of the Rebekah Lodge #278 of Montour Falls.
No funeral services have been announced at this time. Interment will be at Glenwood Cemetery.
